I combine my personal and professional experience to provide goal setting, business strategy and growth-planning for businesses, organizations, and individuals. I also specialize in Enneagram Coaching and group workshops that focus on helping grow individuals and teams.
I've been a business owner, entrepreneur, business strategist, brand-builder, marketing connoisseur and consultant and coach over the last two decades. I've led a collegiate yearbook to six national awards, including the highest honor of "Gold Crown" by the Columbia Scholastic Press. I went on to develop the Liberty University Career Center to offer thriving services both in-person and virtually to residential and online students. I served as part of the Executive Team for a multi-unit Chick-fil-A franchise, winning the "Gold" award for "Best Wait Staff" and "Best Kid Friendly" for 10 consecutive years. Using this expertise, I developed an award-winning Hospitality workshop that has received the Lynchburg Business Magazine's "Best Professional Development Workshop" award numerous times. In 2020, I was honored to be named the Young Athena Award recipient presented by the Central Virginia Business Coalition.
I've been a keynote speaker for the Central Virginia Business Coalition, The Empower Women's Conference and The Virginia Government Financial Officers Association. I've been part of leadership curriculum for the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance, Leader Academy, Impact 2 Lead as well as created leadership development programs for multiple organizations and businesses.
My passion is guiding people to their key strengths and finding ways to cultivate growth and development of individuals, teams, and organizations. My professional experience in business, marketing, and strategy combines with my educational training in career counseling and planning to showcase expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and developing people. I am an Enneagram Coach for individuals and groups. I provide consulting, public speaking and team building in areas of customer service, hospitality, marketing, and team strategy. Additional opportunities include leadership to teams, individuals, and companies to launch people and products forward. With strength in professional communication, I enjoy engaging audiences across multiple generations and topics through all mediums, including blogging, social media, print media, public speaking, and video broadcast. My high energy personality allows me to draw energy from a crowd but also deeply contribute to the needs of those around me. I find joy in being able to encourage, uplift, and help those I encounter.
I am wife to Michael, mom to adopted son Eli and rainbow daughter Violet. If I'm not speaking or writing, you can find me singing. I have been a worship leader for more than 20 years and have served as the the Women's Ministry Director for a local church. Empowering people is my passion which is also why I serve as PTO President for my daughter's elementary school and as a parent volunteer for the Special Education Advisory Committee. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling/Human Services and a Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies. Both have served me well in my personal and professional life. I'm a personality junkie and read psychology books for fun. I love talking about the Enneagram, I am a morning person by nature and I can't live without coffee or music to sing along with.
